A grenade was lobbed at a Police Post in Sherbagh area of Islamabad town in south Kashmir.
Eye witnesses told Kashmir Life that at around 1:20 PM, they heard a sound of grenade blast; however, police have denied any such claims.
No minor or major causality has been reported yet.
Furthermore, after congregational Juma prayers, people assembled outside Jamia Masjid of Sherbagh and held pro-freedom protest demonstration. The police fired tear gas shells to quell the protests.
There is a heavy deployment of police force in Islamabad town on Friday.
