Hundreds of people on Friday took out a Mashaal march in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
Reports reaching here said that as soon as Maghrib prayers ended, people took out a Mashaal march from Cheeni Chowk and marched across main town.
The protestors, amid intense pro-freedom sloganeering, ended the Mashaal march at Lal Chowk. It was a peaceful march.
Reports from summer capital Srinagar said that youth took out a rally in Karan Nagar area early this evening which too remained peaceful.
Reports coming from North Kashmir’s Palhallan said that several youths were injured due to pellets when fired by forces.
Palhallan witnesses intense clashes after congregational Friday prayers today. “Three youths were injured in eye by pellets,” a local said, “several others were hit by pellets as well.”
Reports coming from Sopore said that a rally was taken out from Jamia Masjid to Chankhan Bridge after congregational Friday prayers. People raised intense pro-freedom slogans.
People also held protest demonstration sin Hajin area of Bandipora district and a few persons were injured by pellets as well.
