The angel of death has a date with Kashmir and it continues to take one youth after another.
On Sunday morning, a youth who was beaten mercilessly on July 23 in North Kashmir’s Sopore succumbed to his injuries today.
Identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar, he had suffered Brain contusion.
What is Brain Contusion: Cerebral contusion is a form of traumatic brain injury, is a bruise of the brain tissue.
Like bruises in other tissues, cerebral contusion can be associated with multiple micro-haemorrhages, small blood vessel leaks into brain tissue. Contusion occurs in 20–30% of severe head injuries.
“He succumbed around 8:45,” sources in SKIMS Soura said.
With this latest killing by forces, the toll has reached at least to 53 civilian killings by forces since July 09.
Kashmir is witnessing a renewed mass uprising since popular militant commander Burhan Wani was killed on July 09, 2016 in Kokernag area along with his two associates.
“His body is still in SKIMS,” the sources added.
