Police have started mid-night raids in Old Srinagar.
Kashmir Life received various calls from Down Town with people alleging that police and CRPF are carrying out mid-night raids in Srinagar.
Intense late evening protests erupted across Kashmir putting security establishment a tough time.
The united resistance leadership has called for Jamia Masjid ‘Chalo’ on Friday.
“Several Police vans entered our area and have raided a few houses looking for youth,” a caller from Noor Bagh area said, “this has created fear amongst the locals.”
There have been violent protests in Noor Bagh for last many days.
“Now, some people made announcements through Masjid loudspeakers asking people to come on roads,” the locals said.
The locals added that “Naats” are being played through the loud speakers.
