2-day special vaccination drive for intending Hajj pilgrims of Srinagar district was held here today at Hajj House Bemina Srinagar, where 1638 Hajj Pilgrims were vaccinated as precautionary measure to protect them from any contagious disease during the Pilgrimage- 2016.
The Chief Medical officer Srinagar said that this vaccination drive was carried in compliance with the guidelines of World Health Organisation (WHO), an official spokesperson said Saturday evening.
The vaccination was administered free of cost. Moreover, vaccination drive is also being carried out at all district headquarters of valley.
