EDI Siege: Gardener Hit By a Bullet During Evacuation

SRINAGAR

Abdul Gani, a gardener in EDI Sempore sustained a bullet injury in his leg during the fire exchange between suspected militants and government forces.

Gani was one of many employees being evacuated when a bullet hit him on his leg.

As per the eye-witnesses, he was rushed to hospital.

Earlier, after attacking a paramilitary bus on Srinagar-Islamabad highway, the suspected militants entered EDI, from where they have been engaged in a fierce gun battle with forces.
