Fire Incidents Across Kashmir Damage Property worth Lakhs

Fire erupted at various places across Kashmir on Friday, according to the Fire and Emergency Department officials.

The first fire incident occurred at Pakherpora, Tilasura in Budgam district near the famed shrine of Sheikh ul Aalam (RA) during the wee hours around 5:45 am. In the ensuing blaze, a residential house got damaged.

The second fire incident occurred in frontier district of Kupwara in Tanghdar where flames engulfed a residential house at 8:45 am.

Blaze gutted a structure in Rather Mohalla of village Aloosa in District Bandipora at 10:05 am.

At around 10:31 am fire erupted in the dead stock lying in the premises of SMHS hostel but timely intervention of Fire services department prevented fire from spreading.

The reports of fire from South Kashmir came at around 11:10 am where a residential building was gutted by the flames in Dooru, Islamabad.

The fire also gutted a cowshed in Manzgam Tangmarg of Kulgam district.
