SRINAGAR
District Development Commissioner, Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Shah alongwith a team of officers conducted market checks in Srinagar on Tuesday and recovered one quintal polythene and destroyed the same on the spot.
Shah also asked the officers to intensify the campaign for removal of illegal encroachments on footpaths and roads to ensure free movement of traffic and pedestrians.
