A youth ended his life after hanging himself in Kangan area of Ganderbal District last evening, police said on Tuesday.
The 22 years old Mursaleen Mushtaq Lone son of Abdul Saleem resident of Parin-Kunamulla, in Kangan hanged himself at his home. He died on spot. Kangan Police after completing all medico-legal formalities handed over the body of deceased to his relative for last rites.
In another incident a man attempted to end his life by consuming poison in Kokernag area of Islamabad district last evening.
45 year old Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Tangpora, Kokernag consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
