Man, 30, ‘Murdered’ during Shab-e-Qadr in Sonawari

A man in North Kashmir’s Bandipora has died during the holy Shab-e-Qadr. People are smelling “murder”.

Informed sources from Vijpara area of Sonawari assembly segment told Kashmir Life that dead body of a man, in his early 30s, was recovered from his bathroom Sunday morning.

Identified as Fayaz Ahmad Dar, he was father of five.

Local sources said that he was artisan by profession.

“His neck bore marks of rope,” a local said.

Police have taken custody of the body for post-mortem.
