The Baramulla-Qazigund train is functioning as per normal routine and the prevailing flood-like situation hasn’t affected it, said the railway official.
“The rising water level at Sangam gauge hasn’t affected the railway services,” the official said. He said railway services were running smoothly till Qazigund.
“But during night, a small patch of railway track near Lower Munda skidded off due to heavy rainfall which forced us to stop train services toward Banihal,” he said.
Keeping the bad weather in view, the official said, the department hasn’t yet decided to stop the services.
