Thousands of mourners on Wednesday took part in the last rites of slain militant killed in Tujjer area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town yesterday.
Reports said that mourners from different areas of the town attended the funeral prayers of the slain militant and later the body was taken to “martyrs’ graveyard” Eidgah, Nowpora for the burial.
The slain militant identified as Abdul Majeed Mir, affiliated with the LeT outfit, was killed along with his associate yesterday during an encounter with government forces.
