Nine pellet injured persons referred to SMHS

Srinagar

At least nine pellet hit patients have been referred to SHMS hospital on Thursday afternoon.

As soon as the encounters were over in Srinagar and Chadoora areas, hospital sources informed Kashmir Life that eight pellet injured persons were received from the downtown area of Srinagar, and one from Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. “All the nine patients have been admitted in the hospital with pellet injuries in their eyes.”

Soon after the news of the killing of two militants in Panzan area of Budgam, the youth took to the streets and clashed with government forces, resulting in injuries to many protestors.

Similarly, in downtown areas of the Srinagar city many youth sustained pellet injuries after a group of youth clashed with the government forces.

Meanwhile, after repeated attempts, the medical superintendent of the hospital did not receive his calls for the further details.
