A Special Police officer (SPO) posted at the residence of Peoples Democratic Party leader and MLA Wachi Ajaz Ahmad Mir on Friday decamped with seven Ak-47 rifles and one pistol.
An official said that an SPO identified as Adil Bashir a resident of Zainapora Shopian, he was posted at Jawharnagar residence of MLA Wachi. He went missing along with seven AK 47 rifles and Pistol.
Pistol was allotted to the MLA for his personal protection, he said.
