PDP President Ms Mehbooba Mufti who is contesting from south Kashmir Islamabad Lok Sabha seat has declared her moveable and immovable assets worth Rs 47 lakh. She has declared that she is facing a court case on basis of a compliant that NC’s Ali Mohammad Sagar has filed against her under section 500 RPC.
Ms Mufti who has two daughters as her dependants has stated that she has filed returns indicating her yearly income in 2012-13 at Rs 9.60 lakh. She lacks any cash in hand but has bank deposits worth Rs 680789 besides a Rs 50,000 FDR for each of her two daughters.
Her immoveable assets are worth Rs 25 lakh which include her jewellery. She owns immovable assets worth Rs 22 lakh which includes a kanal land in Bejbehara.
