PDP-NC supporters resort to stone pelting after CM’s rally in Ganderbal

Immediately after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah left Lar area of Ganderbal after addressing the public rally, supporters of PDP allegedly resorted to stone pelting.


Reports said that the NC-PDP supporters resorted to intense stone pelting and some of them were injured too.


They added police took immediate action and the situation was brought under control.


Meanwhile police said that PDP –NC supporters did resort to stone pelting and two persons were injured.


“Omar Abdullah had already left the district when PDP-NC workers resorted to stone pelting and two of them were injured in the incident,” a senior district police officer told Kashmir Life over phone.


According to reports in other area of Ganderbal, Kurhama and Barsoo where according to reports was heavy deployment, youth engaged police in ding-dong battles. Reports further said that window panes of many houses were broken in the incident.
