A photo journalist was injured and window panes of a car belonging to another photo journalist were damaged when they were allegedly attacked by police in South Kashmir’s Kulgam town.
Reports reaching here said that Police ransacked a vehicle of a photo Journalist, Farooq Javed Khan.
They said that as cops on duty saw media persons in Kulgam Chowk, they ran towards the Santro vehicle of Khan, bearing registration number JKO1M-0537 and attacked it.
“Police forces attacked the Santro and injured one of the photojournalists,” eyewitnesses told Kashmir Life.
“We were on way to DH Pora, as we reached Kulgam Chowk, a police party ran towards us, beat us and smashed the window panes we were travelling in,” Javed Dar, one of the photo Journalists told Kashmir Life.
