The two-week long entrepreneurship development programme organized by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute Srinagar concluded on Friday.
As many as 25 participants attended the entrepreneurship awareness programme which was held in collaboration with JK SRLM Kashmir and EDCs under PPDC Extension centre Srinagar.
Additional Mission Director Kashmir JKSRLM Sajid Yahya Naqash and Senior Consultant PPDC Extension Centre Mir Altaf Ahmad ensured complete support and coordination through their field team in making the programme a success.
The programme was organised with an aim to do the capacity building of the SHGs under SRLM who are handling microfinance to improve their livelihood. Few young aspiring entrepreneurs from different Polytechnic colleges of Kashmir region also participated in the programme.
During the programme, participants were provided with detailed information about the schemes available with MSME DI Srinagar, DIC, Handicrafts KVIB, JKEDI besides providing insight about business management.
Group presentations, the involvement of participants in business activities, and the industrial visit was part of the two-week entrepreneurship programme.
