A retired BSF commandant Tuesday morning ended his life by shooting himself with his licensed gun in J&K’s Kathua district.
Police said the slain identified as Retd Commandant Jai Dev Singh, 75, committed suicide by shooting himself with his double barrel licensed gun at his Kathua residence.
While police is yet to confirm the reason behind Singh’s extreme step, the body has been sent to the district hospital Kathua for post-mortem.
