Geelani Demands Investigation into Mysterious Death of Baramulla Sikh Lady

Expressing deep sorrow, grief and shock over the barbaric killing of a Sikh woman in North Kashmir’s Baramulla, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani demanded immediate investigation into this incident and stern punishment to the culprits.

In an amalgam statement, Geelani said, “the Sikh brethren are an important part of our body and they have always stood with their Muslim brothers whatever were the situations.” “We strongly condemn this barbaric killing and the perpetrators of this crime are not humans,” he said.

Geelani appealed all the Muslims and the officials of the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat to visit Baramulla and express condolence and sympathy with the bereaved family and ensure the Sikh brothers that we equally share their grief, the statement added.
