Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Monday visited Aasar-e-Sharief, Hazratbal, and paid obeisance at the revered shrine.
The Chief Minister offered special prayers at the shrine for the improvement of weather conditions in the State.
This was his first visit to the Hazratbal Dargah after taking over as the Chief Minister of the State.
Minister of Health & Medical Education, Ch. Lal Singh, Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar, Minister of State for Health & Medical Education, Asiya Naqash and Vice-Chairman, J&K Wakaf Board, Peer Mohammad Hussain were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Mufti Sayeed prayed for peace, prosperity and safety of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State.
While interacting with the people, the Chief Minister assured them that the Government will take necessary steps to improve the facilities in and around the shrine.
