A Day after Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed blamed that previous regime has left 9000 crore liability, making management of finances a big challenge to the government, the main opposition party National Conference Tuesday said that the government is failing on ground and is now blaming previous government to divert the attention of masses.
“I can tell you that the government is failing on ground. The government is not able to manage the salaries of employees and has left their families in the lurch. If Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed blames previous regime for the liabilities then he should be aware that liabilities is a routine in the government,”NC provisional president Nasir Aslam Wani told KNS.
He further said that liabilities always remain in government. “Liabilities remain always on the shoulders of the existing government. The fact is that they are not able to run the government properly and the promises made by the PDP government have proven hollow and false,” he said.
Commenting on the Minister for education Naeem Akhtar’s statement in which he has said that there is no question of rolling back new Job policy, he said that PDP is creating confusions in the minds of the youth by issuing different statements on the Job policy. “PDP Party is full of egoism. The Job policy is against the youth of Jammu and kashmir.PDP has framed the Job policy for their political means,” he said and asked PDP government to roll back the job policy as soon as possible.
He further said that if at all PDP thinks new job policy is a good one then why they did not produce a bill in the budget session for discussion. “Rather than taking short route of ordinance they (PDP) should have produced a bill for discussion so that every party would have been able to discuss the bill,” he said.
It is to mention here that the chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Monday had said that the previous regime has left over Rs 9000 crore liability, making management of finances a “big challenge” for the present dispensation.
Talking to reporters at Press Enclave on Monday, Mufti said the previous regime has left over Rs 9000 crore liabilities for the present government. “There are some schemes that are pending. Being in such a situation is obviously a challenge for me,” he had said in reply to a query whether the State was facing financial crunch.
The PDP minister Naeem Ahktar had also said that there is no question of rolling back its new Job policy
