The roads include Kupwara -Degree College which is a vital road in Bohipora area that is in dilapidated condition in over a decade. While the residents of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district are up in arms against the beacon authorities for not giving a satisfactory treatment of the dilapidated Lolab road.

The residents said that for past few days macdamization of road is going on, but is not satisfactory in any way.

“After repeated representations BEACON started the macdamization of lolab road, but a thin layer of coal is being spread on the road, which does not serve better”, said Ab. Majeed of Khumriyal.

Another resident Mohammad Ishaq of Kalaroose said “If they cannot do justice to the work they should stop macdamization. Because Lolab residents have suffered a lot while while waiting for the betterment of road”,
