Sopore police on Thursday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 20 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession.

The spokesman said that a police party of Police Post Warpora during naka checking at Dangerpora apprehended two drug peddlers who were identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Rajab Dar and Syed Muazim Masood, son of Syed Masood ul Haq, both residents of Dangerpora Sopore, and recovered 20 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession.
In this regard, a case FIR number 213/2018 under section 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered and further investigations have been taken up.
