Kashmir trade, industry bodies protest against attempts to abrogate Article 35 A

Kashmir Economic Alliance, traders, and civil society of Kashmir on Wednesday took out a protest march to Lal Chowk Srinagar against attempts to revoke the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a joint protest rally, the members of the trade and industry bodies assembled at Bund area and then marched towards Lal Chowk while holding banners that read ‘Interference with Article- 35 A unacceptable’, “Dismiss The Petition Challenge”,  against the attempts to abrogate Article 35A.

The protesters also extended their support to the shutdown call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership against the move, on August 5 to 6, 2018.
