Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik who took oath last week on Monday called on President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Governor Satya Pal Malik meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
Malik, who was sworn in as new Governor of the state on August 23, replaced NN Vohra.
This was his first visit to New Delhi after taking charge of the state, which is under governor’s rule.
According to media reports “Both the meetings have been described as a courtesy call.”
