Clashes broke out between the forces and youth on Wednesday after government forces launched a Cordon and search operation in Chandgam village of south Kashmir’s district Pulwama.
Reports said that scores of the youth assembled and pelted stones on government forces to disrupt the CASO in the area. Forces retaliate with tear gas shells to disperse the protestors.
Police official said that a cordon and search operation was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants
Heavy contingents of army’s 55 RR, SOG and CRPF have been deployed in the area and search operation is going on, sources said.
