SRINAGAR

Directing departments to shift to new system of accounting, Dr Haseeb Drabu said that “civil accounting in the case of capital expenditure will take effect from April 1, 2017.

He further said that “Civil Accounting which was put in abeyance has already been made operative in respect of revenue expenditure.”

As per Dr Drabu, the time gap has been given to have smooth migration to the new system.
