Police vehicle outside the residence of Syed Ali Geelani
Ahead of his Tral visit, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani was placed under house arrest at his Hyderpora residence.
According to Hurriyat spokesman, “the huge deployment of police personal has been made around the residence of Geelani sahib and a police vehicle stands blocking the main entrance gate of the leader.”
He further said that “in the evening police officials informed Geelani sahib about his house arrest and said that he can’t move out from his house.”
