One more death occurred late last night in SKIMS who was infected by H1N1, SKIMS sources said on Sunday.
“The patient was 28 year old male from Kokernag who had cardiac Comorbidities like AR, MR and left ventricular failure and had been admitted at SKIMS on Feb 19, for those conditions only,” they said adding “Patient had tested positive for H1N1.”
Sources said that another 20 years old female patient was admitted at SKIMS H1N1 infection and the patient belongs from Soura.
Stating the patient stable, sources said the total number of patients admitted at SKIMS was 8.
“200 patients with respiratory symptoms were seen at SKIMS special OPD on Sunday up to 3pm, out of which samples were taken from 30 patients,” they said.
Meanwhile, a large number of people contacted at SKIMS help line for queries.
