State Congress president Prof Saifuddin Soz has expressed deep anguish at the assassination of Sarpanch Gulam Ahmad Bhat, of Bomai Sopore.
“It is a condemnable act to kill innocent people. Police must come into action and nab the culprits, as early as possible,” he said in a statement on Sunday.
Soz offered his condolences and sympathized with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Gulam Nabi Monga MLC, Vice President J&K PCC also expressed deepest anguish at the assassination of Sarpanch Gulam Ahmad Bhat.
While terming the killing unfortunate and condemnable, he said, “It s a heinous crime.”
Monga impressed upon the Police to bring the culprits to book. He sympathized with the bereaved family.
