SRINAGAR
A 70 years old Person slipped to death while collecting fire wood in forest area of Kupwara, a police statement said on Monday.
Mohammad Ayoub Tayal son of Safdar Ali Tayal resident of Seemari Hajim, Kupwara had gone for collecting fire wood to nearby forests. While collecting the firewood he slipped and rolled down from a hill, resulting in his on spot death.
The body of deceased was retrieved from the jungle and handed over to his relatives for last rites.
