Lady Found Dead in Srinagar

A lady was found dead in suspicious conditions in her rented quarter in Srinagar, a police statement said on Friday. Police have started investigation to ascertain the cause of her death.

A 24 years old lady Zeenat Khatoon daughter of Mohammad Ramzan Noorjoo resident of Hamdania Colony Bemina was found dead in suspicious circumstances at her rented quarter in Batpora, Hazratbal. The lady is reported to have been residing there as a tenet since last month.

Police have started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of her death.
