Suspected militants hurled a grenade on Police station Shopian which damaged the window panes of the residence of DSP headquarter on Friday.
Sources said that no one was injured in the explosion.
They added police and para military personnel have cordoned off the area and a search operation was launched to nab the grenade throwers.
