Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed emerged as the best choice for Chief Minister with 27% respondents favoring him as the best CM candidate.
Former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad of Congress party emerged as a distant second as the choice for CM with around 15% of the respondents favoring him. For other candidates, the respondents came up with a staggering support as only 9% favored the present Chief minister Omar Abdullah, and 8% favouring the current Union Minister Jitendra Singh.Dr. Nirmal Singh of BJP got only 5% votes in the poll and another 21% refused to list their choice for the best CM.
