SRINAGAR: On the directions of DC Baramulla Tehsildar Boniyar Peer Zahid Sealed Crusher Cum hot plant belong to 53RCC (Gref) BRO at Mohura in Sub Division Uri on Friday.

The order issued by DC Baramulla reads that kindly find enclosed herewith a copy of the order issued by Member Secretary JKPCB Jammu vide No.lll JKPCB of 2021 dated 01/01/2020 regarding the closure of Stone Crusher cum hot plant installed by M/s 53-RCC C/o 56 APO at Mohura Boniyar, Baramulla.
In this connection, I am directed to request you to implement the said order in letter and spirit and furnish action taken report to this office within three days, reads the order.
Earlier, people of Dawaran Uri headed by Ex-Sarpanch and Social activist Abdul Ahad Mangaral protest and mail complaint to Government grievance cell that illegal Stone Crusher cum Tar Coal plant which established by 53 RCC GREFF BRO on a bed of River Jehlum adjoining to village Mohura Tehsil Boniyar of district Baramulla located opposite Bus Stand of village Dawaran.
The said units are spreading pollution which led to a direct effect on Jehlum river and on villagers of adjoining areas which located within restricted limit of rule and regulations of SRO 302.
While talking to reporters, Ex-Sarpanch and Social activist Abdul Ahad Mangral thanks Member secretary PCB who directed Dc Baramulla and Chief Engineer PDD for closure and snap of electricity to the said plant.
