60-Year-Old Woman Falls Victim To Covid-19, J&K Toll 1931

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported one more death due to the covid-19 in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.

Quoting officials news agency GNS reported that the victim was a 60-year-old woman from Budibugh Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and her death took the fatality count to 1931—1212 in Valley and 719 in Jammu division.

Srinagar district with 454 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (370), Baramulla (174), Budgam (117), Kupwara (95), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (84), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (54), Rajouri (55), Kathua (51), Ganderbal (46), Shopian (39), Samba (39), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar(22), and Reasi (15).

The number of active cases stands at 1103 in the J&K—414 in Jammu and 689 in Kashmir while 121124 patients have so far recovered from the infection, the officials added.
