Covid-19 Claims One More Life, Tally Reaches 1930

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported one more death due to the covid-19, news agency GNS quoted officials as having said.

The victim was an 83-year-old man from Abi Karpora, Dalgate and his death took the fatality count to 1930—1211 in Valley and 719 in Jammu division.

Srinagar district with 454 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (370), Baramulla (173), Budgam (117), Kupwara (95), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (84), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (54), Rajouri (55), Kathua (51), Ganderbal (46), Shopian (39), Samba (39), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar(22), and Reasi (15).

The number of active cases stands at 1103 in the J&K—414 in Jammu and 689 in Kashmir while 121124 patients have so far recovered from the infection, the officials added.
