A residential house was gutted in a devastating fire incident in Kralteng area of Sopore on Monday night.
Reports said that during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday around 1:00 am fire broke out in the residential house belonging to Javid Ahmad Kanna, son of Ghulam Muhammad, at Kralteng village.
An official from Fire and Emergency department said that soon after the incident, a team of Fire tenders rushed to the spot and with the help of locals’ fire was brought under control; however, the devastating fire had damaged the residential house completely.
The official added that the cause of the fire was not known immediately, but there are chances of short-circuit as well.
