A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Tazipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Reports said that a joint team of Army and SOG launched a cordon and search operation Tazipora area in Mohammadpora after having credible inputs about the presence of some militants in the area
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected, the hiding militants fired upon forces triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile, mobile internet service was suspended in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
