Three militants were killed in a gunfight with forces in Binner village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Reports said that three militants were killed after a joint team of army’s 46 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a cordon and search operation in Jamia Mohalla, Binner village after having credible input about the presence of some militants in the area.
A senior police officer said that three militants were killed in a gunfight and search operation is going on at the site of a gunfight. “Their identities and affiliations are being ascertained,” he said.
The authorities have snapped mobile Internet service in the area.
