Paramilitary trooper, five civilians injured in Islamabad attack

Srinagar

A Paramilitary trooper and five civilians including a woman were injured on Thursday after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a mixed deployment of CRPF and Police at Kralyar area of the Islamabad locality in south Kashmir.

Reports said that suspected militants hurled a grenade on the forces party resulting in injuries to a CRPF man and five pedestrians including a woman. All the injured were taken to nearby hospital where the condition of the woman and two others are stated to be serious.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been started to nab the assailants
