Following the inputs of the ‘suspicious movements’ in border areas of the Samba district, a massive operation was launched by the mixed contingents of forces on Wednesday in Ramgarh sector of the district along the Indo-Pakistan border ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state.
A joint team of forces have launched the searches in Basantar river area in Ramgarh sector besides other border hamlets, media reports claimed, adding that the operation was launched after receiving specific inputs about the suspicious movements from the area, media reports claimed.
Pertinently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has scheduled a visit to the state on February 3, 2019, to lay the foundation stones of the various projects.
