Civilian shot at in Tral, hospitalized

Srinagar

A civilian was critically injured after he was shot at by suspected militants in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

An official said that suspected militants fired upon civilian Tariq Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rashid resident of Reshopora, leaving him critically injured.

He said the injured was shifted to the SDH Tral for treatment.

Reports said Tariq a former army man is working as the security guard of Jammu and Kashmir Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

Meanwhile, Army, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
