The administration has ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Sopore for the day.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sopore told Kashmir Life that the decision to close down the educational institutions for the day was taken after a gunfight erupted in Nowpora village of Tujjar Sopore.
He said that all schools including Sopore Degree college will remain closed.
Notably, a fierce gunfight is on between forces and militants hiding in a house in Nowpora area of the area.
