Kashmir Press Photographers Association (KPAA) Tuesday condemned the attack on a photojournalist, Danish Ismail’s residence at Batamaloo in Srinagar.
KPPA condemned the action of police and CRPF for ransacking the house of the photojournalist by smashing window panes.
Danish Ismail works as a Photo-Journalist with international news gathering agency, Reuters.
KPPA said, “Danish was not at his home when police and CRPF men pelted stones at his house, causing panic among the inmates and resulting in his wife getting fainted.”
Meanwhile, Journalists covering pro-freedom protests in Batamaloo on today were “abused” by forces.
