J&K Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered huge quantity of Fukki from their possession in Qazigund area of Kulgam district, JKP spokesperson said on Monday evening.
“Acting on specific information, a police party headed by SHO Qazigund Nazir Ahmad intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02T-0915 near Golab Bagh, Qazigund,” the spokesperson said.
“On its checking police recovered 41 kilograms of Fukki. Two people who were travelling in the vehicle have been taken into custody. The accused were identified as Altaf Ahmad Ganie and Bashir Ahmad Dar. Qazigund police has registered a case FIR number 230/216 under section 8/15 NDPS Act and further investigation has been taken up,” the spokesperson added.
