Senior Huriyat Conference (M) Leader Professor Abdul Ghani Bhat asked the people of Kashmir to learn to be self reliant and instead of waiting for Taliban to come to their rescue

“The people should try to strengthen themselves,” said Prof Bhat.

He was addressing a seminar organized by Hurriyat (M) at its headquarter in Rajbagh

Rejecting intervention of United Nation as obsolete, Prof Bhat said that intervention of USA is more important than that of UN.

“India and Pakistan are already talking to each other but the people of Kashmir are stuck in United Nations intervention. Kashmir belongs to us and we will decide its fate. Where ever there are conflicts in the world, you will always witness USA intervention and not that of the United Nations. UN had announced plebiscite in Kashmir but so far Kashmir has not been resolved,” Prof Bhat told the gathering.
