Budgam Police on Tuesday claimed the arrested of six militants during a ‘special operation’.
“The ‘special operation’ is going on since last two weeks,” sources said.
Police spokesman however categorically refused any such arrests. “We have not arrested any one,” the spokesman said.
But sources in Budgam police confirmed the arrest of six people on the militancy related charges. They identified the arrestees as Rafiq Ahmad, Javed Ahmad, Muzaffar Ahmad, Mohammad Yaseen, Altaf Ahmad Mir and Bilal Ahmad Rather.
They sources however did not disclose the details of the ‘special operations’.
