02 die, 02 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR


Two persons died and two others were injured in two different road accidents in Kashmir Valley.


According to police spokesman, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A-6750 driven by Mohammad Ashraf Nanda son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Nandpora Khanabal, Islamabad hit and injured a pedestrian Irfan Ahmad age of 27 year son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Nai Basti K.P Road Islamabad at K.P Road near Usmania Coaching Centre. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad where from he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.


Meanwhile a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03C-8216 driven by Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Gani resident of Deethu Nagrain, Islamabad and Maruti Car bearing registration number JK03C-3311 driven by Abdul Rashid Mir son of Haji Ali Mohammad resident of Dardsun Kralpora, Kupwara collided at Lower Monda, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund, resulting in injuries to Maruti driver and his two daughters Saima Rashid age of 16 years and Rabia Rashid age of 17 years. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Qazigund where Maruti driver Abdul Rashid succumbed o his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
